IV Jewellery

I V Jewellery is the bespoke jeweller Ingrid van Heusden based in Auckland, New Zealand. Influenced by natural landscapes, cultures, art and fashion Ingrid has been passionate about design from a young age. The child of an Architect father and Fashion Designer mother, Ingrid’s childhood was one full of creativity. Exposed to the weird and wonderful culture of India in her twenties, she absorbed customs, acquired skills and collected trinkets.

Influenced by nature and her surroundings, memories from her early life also subconsciously inform Ingrid’s imagination and inspiration. All her pieces are created with an interest in upcycling and a focus on sustainability.

Ingrid has a Bachelor of Design and Visual Arts majoring in Contemporary Craft, and her work has been in a number of exhibitions, shows and galleries in New Zealand. She has her bench at Whau studios, an Auckland-based contemporary jewellery collective and jewellery school. Ingrid also tutors a wax ring-carving class at Whau Studios.
